Hole 1, Par 4
Blue: 355m White: 344m Red: 306m Index: 5
The dog-leg left hole is a blind hole from the tee box. The tee shot has to be towards the right of the fairway but should land before the trees and the driving range to ensure a clear shot to the green. Long hitters must be wary of the fairway bunker on the right around the 250m mark. The fairway, which is flanked by tall mature trees, widens after the 100m mark but becomes a bottleneck closer to the green. The approach shot is downhill and the green is guarded by two sand bunkers. The sloping green requires placing the ball accurately for an uphill putt for a low score. A challenging start is on your cards.
